The Internet Show Middle East presented by Yahoo! Maktoob is the Middle East’s best attended and biggest event for digital marketing and online business. It brings together over 2000 attendees from big, medium and small business and government, all eager to find new ways of doing internet business. Visitors come to source ideas, solutions and products in:

Autocomponent Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) organized an event for Small and Medium businesses in Bangalore at the Royal Orchid Hotel, Bangalore on October 28th, 2009. ACMA’s IT Committee Chairman, Mr. Ravi M. R. chaired the conference. In this select gathering of small and medium sized auto component companies, the Chairman emphasized the importance of IT Adoption for enabling organizations to grow and compete. The importance of ERP was highlighted with reference to its capability to improve the overall productivity and efficiencies at organizations.

The event was organized by Sysfore Technologies, an Openbravo Partner based out of Bangalore. Openbravo was represented by the Mr. Manel Sarasa, CEO and Mr. Paolo Juvara, CTO. Mr Manel spoke about the achievements of Openbravo in the last few years. He highlighted the advantages for organizations in adopting a completely Opensource based solution. Openbravo is looking at India as one of the key markets for future growth. Openbravo currently offers a fully supported licensed Professional version for all its customers in India.

Mr. Paolo Juvara highlighted the key strengths of the Openbravo ERP solution. Openbravo is one of the early adopters of a total web based architecture. The ERP has various modules like Purchase, Sales, Warehouse, Production, Material Requirements Planning, Finance, Project and Service Management. One of the key strengths of Openbravo, are the “add-ons” or “extension” modules built by various partners. The ERP features are growing and becoming very affordable in this collaborative environment. Openbravo ERP can be used by any small and midsized businesses involved in retail, restaurants, trading, stocking and distribution, manufacturing or similar. The Openbravo Forge, Wiki and Exchange are very popular platforms in this growing opensource ERP community.

Mr. Srikanth Karumbati, VP – Enterprise Practice spoke briefly about Sysfore’s Openbravo ERP offering. Sysfore is a key Openbravo Partner focusing on the automotive vertical in India.
